*February 15th: DEADLINE to buy senior ads for the yearbook.
*February 16th-20th: Mardi Gras break for students
*February 23rd: DEADLINE to pay REQUIRED SENIOR FEE ($100); Pay on GoFan or in the library
*March 2nd: Deadline to pay for Senior Breakfast ($40); Pay on GoFan or in the library
*March 3rd: Cap & Gown pictures at DHS
*March 13th: Distance Learning Day
*March 16th: Teacher Work Day - No school for students
*March 17th: 4th Quarter begins

We’re incredibly proud of the innovative work coming out of Mr. Daigle’s AP Computer Science classes and our TSA students. These talented Warriors have been hard at work developing creative, skillful projects to represent Davidson High and the EPIC Program in the Congressional App Challenge.
On January 16 in Montgomery, our students were recognized at the Congressional App Challenge Awards Ceremony and Reception hosted by Congressman Figures. We’re thrilled to celebrate their achievements and dedication to computer science and technology. 💻✨

Congratulations to Will Jordan on earning his Eagle Scout award! 🦅
For his project, Will built a hose drying rack for the Theodore Dawes Fire Department, which recognized him with a plaque at last week’s Board meeting. At both the Board meeting and his Eagle Board of Review, Will proudly shared that he is a sophomore in Davidson’s IB & Epic Program.

Davidson’s girls bowling team wrapped up an awesome season at the regional competition in Vestavia Hills this week—finishing just 8 pins shy of going to State! Whisper Saunders also shined, finishing as a Top 10 bowler on opening day at regionals. We’re so proud of their hard work, heart, and dedication all season long. 🖤💛🎳
Ms. Poorman’s Advanced Theatre class hosted some very special guests for a magical puppet show today!
✨ First, Ms. Zito and Ms. Pettaway’s classes enjoyed the performance.
Our guests then jumped in, role‑playing with the puppets themselves.
🎶 Finally, everyone was thrilled to learn part of a Broadway song and dance taught by Ms. Poorman’s students — check out the video!
All puppets were designed and created by the Tech Theatre classes, and the puppet show scripts were written by Ms. Poorman’s Theatre classes.

Will pursue a career in aeronautical engineering
